Pianist McCoy Tyner is the last surviving member of the legendary John Coltrane Quartet. He recorded over 80 albums between his 1962 debut LP as a leader, Inception (presented here in it's entirety), and his most recent release, Solo -Live from San Francisco (2009). This album gives listeners the chance to hear what Tyner sounded like outside the confines of the classic John Coltrane quartet.
