2005 reissue marking the 40th Anniversary of this beloved film classic. This special French edition features the original soundtrack (restored to the original sequence of songs as they play in the film). These songs are augmented with bonus interviews with director Robert Wise, composer Richard Rodgers and actor Charmaine Carr, who played Liesl. The second disc of this special set has the original translated French soundtrack recordings (remastered, of course) that played in French territories, known as "La Melodie du Bonheur".
