Double album, 140 gram vinyl. Gov't Mule are a Southern rock band that was founded in 1994 as a side project of ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND by Warren Haynes and Allen Woody. This album is self-titled debut, which was released first launched in 1995. The atmosphere of the album resembles a carefree jam session. In fact, the album was recorded live in the studio; many of the tracks may overlap., Mule "is still celebrated live and, Rockin Horse" was later picked up by the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND, as Warren Haynes returned for the album Hittin The Note "in the bosom of the band.
