Lateef on tenor sax, flute and oboe, presents a classy quartet featuring Kenny Barron on piano, Bob Cunningham on bass, and master Albert "Toothie" Heath on drums. Not much in Lateef's ethno-world trip, just tons of solid grooves and waves of blue notes, a timeless formula to be enjoyed unreservedly.
