Showcasing Caliman's formidable talent during a transitional period in jazz, these original compositions centre around Caliman's tenor sax, characterized by a slightly sharp yet inviting tone and fantastic phrasing. Considered as one of a two-part album set taken from his time with Catalyst Records, 'Projecting' and this album 'Celebration' encapsulate a wonderful period in this esteemed musician's career.
