Extremely limited double 180gm colored vinyl LP repressing of this long out of print album in gatefold sleeve. On this album, we have rare alternative mixes of songs by Manchester post-punk legends Joy Division that were producer Martin Hannett's personal favorites. Thankfully, Martin kept his mixes of these tracks and he had the forethought to get the band members to give him control of these recordings. Joe Division were poised to take over America until singer Ian Curtis committed suicide on the eve of their American tour. His death cemented their legacy in stone. The rest of the band renamed themselves New Order and after a few dark Joy Division-like recordings, slowly transformed into one of the most successful bands of the `80s.
