This release is part of the uDiscovermusic series, a new standard lineup for Universal Music's international catalog developed overseas and in Japan to serve as a place for "encounters with new music" by re-releasing masterpieces. This best-of album for Frankie Goes to Hollywood was produced a decade after the release of Welcome to the Pleasuredome, capitalizing on a newly remixed version of "Relax" re-entering the UK chart at No. 5. More than a simple compilation, it lines up the band's biggest hits selected from their two albums, Welcome to the Pleasuredome and Liverpool, and includes both the classic album versions and unique, collectible single versions. Highlights include special single versions of "Two Tribes," "War," "Ferry 'Cross the Mersey," and "Rage Hard," as well as the single remix version of "Warriors of the Wasteland." The compilation was a major success, entering the charts at No. 4 in the UK, No. 5 in Australia, No. 8 in Germany, and No. 10 in Finland, ultimately being certified Platinum in France and Gold in the UK and Germany.
