Robert Glasper's innovative new album IN MY ELEMENT, offers a view into the mind of one of the great young jazz pianists of today. At times serious and whimsical, IN MY ELEMENT displays Glasper's improvisational skills and technical expertise. In addition to composing seven of the tracks on the album, Glasper also takes on the classics with his rendition of the Sam Rivers tune "Beatrice".
