If there's an award for third-rate sequel with a first class Soundtrack, 1985's teen sex romp Porky's Revenge remains a perennial contender. While it grossed a fraction of the original PORKY'S (itself inspired by true events in the '50s high school life of writer-director Bob Clark), it's Dave Edmunds produced songs (the franchise's first soundtrack release) became a landmark in the '80s roots-rock boom spawned by the Punk-New Wave explosion.
